*aidan found a penny on the ground and i told him to throw it in a nearby fountain and make a wish, to which he replied: mom, wishes don't come true. never have, never will.
*aidan and i went to the store so he could get some new floss. he found these colorful individual holders with pieces of floss in them (very cool). well i picked out 2 - not paying attention to the colors, to which he said: mom, i can just get the ones that don't have pink in them. i am not picky.
*one of his favorite things to say when he makes a mistake: oh, my bad!
*one of his favorite things to say when he is feeling frustrated: everyone is a critic! (i am pretty sure he doesn't know what this means - but, it doesn't make it any less funny)
* as aidan was "talking" to our cat lulu: honey - you have to be more pacific!

"Everyone is a critic" is hilarious! But the one about wishes makes me sad. Its funny coming from an older kid, but from a 6 year-old, it sounds so jaded.
